Wikipedia says this about the current tea party protests:
The Tea Party movement is a United States movement that emerged in 2009 through a series of locally and nationally coordinated protests. The protests are partially in response to several Federal laws: the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (“bailout”), the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“stimulus package”), and the 2009–2010 health care reform bills.
The name “Tea Party” is a reference to the Boston Tea Party of 1773—a protest by American colonists against taxes imposed on them by the British government, and against the colonists’ lack of direct representation in the British Parliament. Tea Party protests have sought to evoke themes, images and slogans similar to those used during the pre-revolutionary period in American history.
Many people in the controlled media have attacked the tea-party movement for being so white. No one in the media would attack *any* group for being overwhelmingly african american, they wouldn’t condemn a pro-amnesty group for being overwhelmingly Mexican, or any organization of any other race for fighting for their agenda – only when groups are identified as “White” are they called racist.
The propaganda is so thick today making young people believe it is un-American to want to preserve white heritage. If I am un-American, then so are the men who created America.
Thomas Jefferson wrote – “Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate, than that these people are to be free.” This is inscribed on the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. – Referring to the slaves.
But what the inscription leaves off is the rest of his statement;
‘nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government.’ Thomas Jefferson’s actual words.
Thomas Jefferson also wrote;
“It will probably be asked, why not retain and incorporate the Blacks into the state, and thus save the expence of supplying, by importation of White settlers, the vacancies they will leave? Deep rooted prejudices entertained by the Whites; ten thousand recollections, by the Blacks, of the injuries they have sustained; new provocations; the real distinctions which nature has made; and many other circumstances, will divide us into parties, and produce convulsions which will probably never end but in the extermination of one or the other race. To these objections, which are political, may be added others, which are physical and moral.” Query XIV, “Notes on the State of Virginia” 1781, Thomas Jefferson.
Abraham Lincoln said;
“Why should the people of your race be colonized, and where? Why should they leave this country? This is, perhaps, the first question for proper consideration. You and we are different races. We have between us a broader difference than exists between almost any other two races. Whether it is right or wrong I need not discuss, but this physical difference is a great disadvantage to us both, as I think your race suffer very greatly, many of them by living among us, while ours suffer from your presence. In a word, we suffer on each side. If this be admitted, it affords a reason at least why we should be separated. It is better for both, therefore, to be separated.” Abraham Lincoln speaking to a group of Black community leaders at the White House on August 14th, 1862
Benjamin Franklin said concerning German immigrants;
“[The immigrants] who come [to America] are generally of the most ignorant stupid sort of their own nation, … Their own clergy have very little influence over the people … Not being used to liberty, they know not how to make a modest use of it … they are not esteemed men till they have shown their manhood by beating their mothers … now they come in droves … Few of their children in the country learn English…”
I suppose many readers may jump to conclusions about these founding fathers of our country as being racist, after all they were a group of whites. I’m not sure these men were racist but I do know there is a difference between racial separatism and racial supremacy. I think we all can agree though that there is an unseen racial divide in this country. I’m just tired of watching the mainstream media paint white Americans that affiliate with a group like the tea party as racists. I am also tired of feeling like I must walk on eggshells around those of color. It also makes me sick when I see whites recruiting minorities into their agenda to somehow prove to the world they aren’t racist. Furthermore my problem isn’t racism, it is this feeling of entitlement predicated on racism that is killing our country. No one should be entitled to anything from the government or my pocketbook because they are a minority. I’m sorry, but there will always be a huge rift between us, diversity will only go so far. As Abraham Lincoln said; “as I think your race suffer very greatly, many of them by living among us, while ours suffer from your presence. In a word, we suffer on each side.”
So I’ll continue telling all my young white friends to continue to multiply, have babies, start business’s, do whatever it takes (peacefully mind you) to flourish in this great country of ours. And to quite feeling like the misfits the mainstream media has made you out to be. As James David Manning said; “Black people have a chip on their shoulder, and you if you want to knock it off then knock it off, knock that chip right off their shoulders.” “Because they wear racism on their shoulder and slavery on their sleeves.”
