Fat old Republicans…Dems too…But mostly Republicans.

I’m tired of seeing fat old republicans with portly bellys and stubby fat fingers shaking hands and slapping backs. You can tell they’ve had a life of tossing back Scotch’s at night to take the edge off because of their stubby fat red noses. “With chronic use of alcohol, the face and nose will sustain flushing and appear red.” They all look like a bunch of greedy deceitful penguins. Dems and Reps alike are all playing the spin game. Even Dems have dropped the word Democrat in their campaign ads because that has become an evil word!

Gerald’s Game

I admit, I have not read much work by Stephen King. The Night Shift (collection of short stories), Rage & Roadwork (by his alias Richard Bachman), and lastly the Stand. I was watching Needful Things when the idea popped into my head about the front cover of Gerald’s Game. A handcuff, cuffed to a bedpost. I suppose that was the inception of an idea that later propelled me to borrow the book from a family member and read it. I got through the thick of the book last night, and to be quite honest it kept me up. (SPOILER ALERT) Especially after the protagonist woke up to find a strange being in the room with her. That made the hair stand at attention on the back of my neck. “It was an old criticism of King’s work, before “Gerald’s Game” and “Dolores Claiborne” were published, that he couldn’t write a convincing female character between the ages of 17 and 70.” I think Gerald’s Game was his answer to that criticism. However, even reading the Stand where it was mainly male characters I didn’t see much difference except for the sex. Sure the subject character Jessi had skeletons in her closet, being molested by her Father when she was 11 as starters – but we all have some dead weight we carry with us regardless of sex. We all have inner demons lurking the dark corners of our mind. Don’t get me wrong, the story was excellent and was a real page turner. A few places in the book gave me that warm flush feeling of anxiety creeping in, especially when she met “her” Grim Reaper come to take her home.

The book is basically about Jessi and her husband Gerald. Both of their libido has diminished for each other…Until Gerald ties her up with scarves to a bedpost and makes love to her. That excites both of them. So they graduate to handcuffs. Gerald takes Jessi to a mountain cottage/cabin and handcuffs her there to have another wild romp. But this time Jessi has a change of heart and wants the cuffs off. Gerald doesn’t listen to her as he is too caught up in the heat of the moment. So he when he tries to mount her, Jessi kicks him square in the nuts. This sets off a chain of events which leads off with Gerald having a heart attack right after the kick to his balls. Now Jessi is handcuffed to a bed and alone. One of the horrific moments in the book begins with a stray dog breaking into the house and eating Gerald’s dead face off while Jessi watches and listens in horror absolutely incapable of doing a damn thing about it.

If your a bit claustrophobic this book may not be for you. Just imagine being handcuffed to a bed for 2 or 3 days without food or water. Imagine the hysteria, the mental fatigue, dehydration, muscle cramps/spasms, hallucinations, even voices you’d here in that time. Which Jessie gets all those things in this book. To make matters worse, this evil person, being or spirit, or whatever the hell you call it – is coming for her soon to kill her. Unless she can get the hell out of those handcuffs before nightfall…(Sorry won’t spoil anymore…)

Am I un-American?

Wikipedia says this about the current tea party protests:

The Tea Party movement is a United States movement that emerged in 2009 through a series of locally and nationally coordinated protests. The protests are partially in response to several Federal laws: the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (“bailout”), the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“stimulus package”), and the 2009–2010 health care reform bills.

The name “Tea Party” is a reference to the Boston Tea Party of 1773—a protest by American colonists against taxes imposed on them by the British government, and against the colonists’ lack of direct representation in the British Parliament. Tea Party protests have sought to evoke themes, images and slogans similar to those used during the pre-revolutionary period in American history.

Many people in the controlled media have attacked the tea-party movement for being so white. No one in the media would attack *any* group for being overwhelmingly african american, they wouldn’t condemn a pro-amnesty group for being overwhelmingly Mexican, or any organization of any other race for fighting for their agenda – only when groups are identified as “White” are they called racist.

The propaganda is so thick today making young people believe it is un-American to want to preserve white heritage. If I am un-American, then so are the men who created America.

Thomas Jefferson wrote – “Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate, than that these people are to be free.” This is inscribed on the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. – Referring to the slaves.

But what the inscription leaves off is the rest of his statement;

‘nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government.’ Thomas Jefferson’s actual words.

Thomas Jefferson also wrote;

“It will probably be asked, why not retain and incorporate the Blacks into the state, and thus save the expence of supplying, by importation of White settlers, the vacancies they will leave? Deep rooted prejudices entertained by the Whites; ten thousand recollections, by the Blacks, of the injuries they have sustained; new provocations; the real distinctions which nature has made; and many other circumstances, will divide us into parties, and produce convulsions which will probably never end but in the extermination of one or the other race. To these objections, which are political, may be added others, which are physical and moral.” Query XIV, “Notes on the State of Virginia” 1781, Thomas Jefferson.

Abraham Lincoln said;

“Why should the people of your race be colonized, and where? Why should they leave this country? This is, perhaps, the first question for proper consideration. You and we are different races. We have between us a broader difference than exists between almost any other two races. Whether it is right or wrong I need not discuss, but this physical difference is a great disadvantage to us both, as I think your race suffer very greatly, many of them by living among us, while ours suffer from your presence. In a word, we suffer on each side. If this be admitted, it affords a reason at least why we should be separated. It is better for both, therefore, to be separated.” Abraham Lincoln speaking to a group of Black community leaders at the White House on August 14th, 1862

Benjamin Franklin said concerning German immigrants;

“[The immigrants] who come [to America] are generally of the most ignorant stupid sort of their own nation, … Their own clergy have very little influence over the people … Not being used to liberty, they know not how to make a modest use of it … they are not esteemed men till they have shown their manhood by beating their mothers … now they come in droves … Few of their children in the country learn English…”

I suppose many readers may jump to conclusions about these founding fathers of our country as being racist, after all they were a group of whites. I’m not sure these men were racist but I do know there is a difference between racial separatism and racial supremacy. I think we all can agree though that there is an unseen racial divide in this country. I’m just tired of watching the mainstream media paint white Americans that affiliate with a group like the tea party as racists. I am also tired of feeling like I must walk on eggshells around those of color. It also makes me sick when I see whites recruiting minorities into their agenda to somehow prove to the world they aren’t racist. Furthermore my problem isn’t racism, it is this feeling of entitlement predicated on racism that is killing our country. No one should be entitled to anything from the government or my pocketbook because they are a minority. I’m sorry, but there will always be a huge rift between us, diversity will only go so far. As Abraham Lincoln said; “as I think your race suffer very greatly, many of them by living among us, while ours suffer from your presence. In a word, we suffer on each side.”

So I’ll continue telling all my young white friends to continue to multiply, have babies, start business’s, do whatever it takes (peacefully mind you) to flourish in this great country of ours. And to quite feeling like the misfits the mainstream media has made you out to be. As James David Manning said; “Black people have a chip on their shoulder, and you if you want to knock it off then knock it off, knock that chip right off their shoulders.” “Because they wear racism on their shoulder and slavery on their sleeves.”

Battlefield BC2

What is there not to like about Battlefield Bad Company 2? Its no Red Dead Redemption but…wait, I don’t need to begin comparing games to one I absolutely fell in love with and isn’t even considered a first person shooter anyway. Alright, now thats out of the way Battlefield Bad Company 2 as opposed to MW2 in my opinion is more team oriented. Keep in mind I am still playing through the campaign and haven’t finished it yet, so I can only offer my two cents about the multiplayer aspect of the game. Your given four classes to choose from, Assault, Medic, Recon, Engineer. Assaults do just that, they assault, Medics heal other squad mates, Recon are the dirty ass snipers I despise, and Engineers can repair vehicles such as tanks and helicopters. I really like the class aspect of the game because aside from dirty ass despicable recon snipers every other class supports the other.

I am so tired of hearing my Clan mates in MW2 brag about their damn KD after a match, which in my book basically makes you look like a jerk. The match starts and everyone just runs off to do their own thing. Granted you can do the same thing in Battlefield but it won’t get you very far. MW2 should be named Kill Streak Warrior because that’s what everyone is after in team death matches. Battlefield your entire team/squad has a goal, to destroy M-COM sites, defend or rush. As a medic you can keep your teammates alive while defending making it very difficult for the enemy to penetrate a given area. As an engineer you can keep those bad ass tanks alive and trust me, tanks in Bad Company freaking own! In this game you rarely hear people shouting how many kills they got at the end of the match, come to think of it, I’ve never heard anyone do that – try saying that about MW2. There just is no team spirit in MW2, everyone wants to shine and they don’t really care if other teammates suffer. Now maybe its me, maybe I’m old school, maybe its the military mindset I was raised with but when I see a teammate in MW2 suffering I usually offer them my care packages (if I get one) – seriously. I want all my Clan mates to have high numbers and to totally destroy the other team, not just one person. Ok, this isn’t a rant hating MW2, sorry I’ll get back to the topic at hand, Bad Company 2.

One thing I really like is the dynamic environment. You can rip holes in buildings if not tear them in half with tanks or rockets. Trying to get that asshole sniper out of a building? Launch a grenade or missile at the building blowing out chunks at a time to expose that bastard. You also get credit for the kill if you just site the enemy placing the opposing person on your squads radar. You do this by siting the target then hitting the back button to place a red triangle above the enemy’s head, much like hunters mark in World of Warcraft, except the target appears on everyone’s radar helping your teammates track the enemy. Even if you don’t get the kill and a teammate kills them, you get some credit for it, thats genius! Speaking of kill credit, lets say your firing at an enemy and you hit them but its not fatal and some jerk comes behind you and knifes you. Even while your waiting to respawn if (big IF) a squad mate kills the person you were shooting at and kills them, you get credit for that kill, yes its an assist, but you get a much bigger point boost than you would in MW2. Daddy like.

The only thing I dislike about it, is all the faggot kiddies want to use the UAV booth or be recon, squatting next to a tree for the entire match taking pot shots at the enemy… I know snipers play an important role, but seriously, in FPS’s your a loser. Sometimes the game may seem a bit choppy reminding me of Left 4 Dead 2 but it doesn’t pale in comparison to the great gameplay. So far the solo campaign has been satisfyingly good and I will finish it sooner or later.
